Metals Appendix to ECHA guidance on CSA

In the framework of the development of guidance for the drafting of the chemical safety assessment/report (CSA/CSR) under REACH, it was agreed with the European Commission that the metal-specific aspects of environmental risk assessment should be summarized in an annex to the guidance for developing the CSA/CSR document (Reach Implementation Project (RIP) 3.2). 

The MERAG guidance and further experience acquired during the discussions of the risk assessment reports prepared for metals (e.g. Zn, Cd, Cu, Ni, Pb, Sb) under the existing substances regulations were translated in a REACH-guidance format and discussed with authorites.
